D'accord/en
It all began in 2023 at the Pampelmuse nursery in Chemnitz. The first singing enthusiasts came together there, full of joy in music and eager to create something special together. Under the direction of Bernd Sikora, an experienced musician from Chemnitz's theatre and cultural scene, our choir began its first rehearsals.
Since June 2024, Lisa-Anna from the band ELL, who has made Chemnitz her home, has been our musical leader, bringing warmth, infectious energy and fresh ideas. A lot has happened since those first rehearsals: when Kraftklub announced their new album and tour at Chemnitz's Schauspielhaus in May 2025, we joined them to sing “Schief in jedem Chor”. Soon afterwards, we appeared at KOSMOS on Theaterplatz with Blond and the Robert Schumann Philharmonic: an unforgettable moment of music, encounters and goosebumps.
In April 2026, the time finally came: our first concert of our own at U Brambory was a very special evening to share with our audience.
Since the beginning of 2026, we have also been part of Solche e.V. With around 25 active singers, we regularly develop new projects together. Among other things, we recorded the backing vocals for the Solche song “Wer ist wir?”. Our repertoire is as varied and colourful as the people who sing with us. Adele, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga have their place alongside Danger Dan, ELL, Jacques Palminger and the Italian partisan song “Bella Ciao”.
We love music that is fun, moving, tells stories or has something to say; ideally, all of those at once. What matters to us is that it reaches people and connects us. D’ACCORD means much more to us than getting the notes right together. Different people, voices and perspectives come together here, and that diversity makes our choir what it is. Openness, respect and appreciation for one another are fundamental to us. Exclusion and discrimination have no place in this community.
Ultimately, we care about what music does so well: bringing people together, crossing boundaries, creating something together and making lasting memories.
