The band performing as a trio

The Solche project originally began in spring 2004 with three musicians playing a somewhat harder style of rock: Andreas Neubert (drums), Daniel Seifert (guitar) and Holm Krieger (bass/vocals). Highlights of this collaboration, which lasted almost two years, included supporting Wissmut, the Waikiki Beach Bombers and the Bananafishbones.

Of particular note was Holm Krieger's 12-string bass, which repeatedly attracted attention from fellow musicians. He was even chosen as a featured player by a specialist website.

With Gerit Hecht's help, this lineup recorded almost all of the album “Bild dir eine Ausstellung”, except the song Wetterglas. After the band split in August 2005, these recordings were no longer used, because Solche, now a duo, decided to record the album again with the current lineup.
